Nayab completed her BSc. in Biotechnology (2018) and Masters in Biology (2021) in Pakistan. During her subsequent time as a research associate, she worked towards deciphering the structure of viral proteins. 
For her PhD project, she aims to investigate the enigmatic bacterial proteases and explore the host-microbe and microbe-microbe interactions within the human gut.
Outside of lab, she enjoys painting and exploring nature.
